The Primary Classroom curriculum consists of a three year cycle for children ages 3 – 6.

The materials in the Primary Classroom support the Montessori curriculum areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, and Science/Culture. Classrooms are equipped with a full range of Montessori materials. These materials are set out in an orderly manner from left to right, top to bottom, and concrete to abstract. Children move through the curriculum at their own pace under the guidance and direction of the Teacher. The Montessori curriculum fosters independence and concentration in the young learner while providing the child with a life-long love of learning.

During the Kindergarten year, the child can work with these materials in more depth, assume leadership in the classroom and establish critical learning habits.
